Claude Code

Agentic coding in your terminal.

The CLI I live in. Claude Code reads your repo, runs your tools, edits your files, and ships PRs — all on your machine, all with your hands on the wheel. The 10x for a senior engineer is real.

  • Skills, hooks, subagents, MCP — the whole extension surface
  • Plan mode keeps risk low on big refactors
  • Works against any repo, any stack, any cloud
Why

The 10x for a senior engineer isn't marketing — but only when the harness is wired right. Claude Code earns its keep when skills, hooks, and subagents are tuned to your codebase, not bolted on generically.

How
  • Audit + tune your repo's CLAUDE.md + skills before any feature work
  • Subagents for review, testing, and migration in parallel
  • Plan mode + dry-run hooks block destructive ops by default

FAQ
How is Claude Code different from a normal chat assistant?
It runs in your terminal, reads your repo, edits your files, runs your tools, and ships PRs. The 10x for senior engineers is real — but only when skills, hooks, and subagents are tuned to your codebase.
How do skills and hooks help?
Skills are reusable workflows you invoke with /name. Hooks fire on lifecycle events (pre-tool, post-edit, etc.) and can block destructive ops, run tests, or notify Slack. Together they make the harness opinionated to your repo, not generic.
Is plan mode worth using?
On anything non-trivial, yes. Plan mode reads the repo, drafts the approach, and surfaces critical files + risks before any edit. Two-minute investment, hours of debugging avoided.
